Support By State for Claude and other AI assistants
Ask your AI assistant what child support would be, and it runs the same calculators as this site: each state's official guideline formula with 2026 figures, for all 50 states.
Connect it
In Claude, open Connectors, add a custom connector, and paste this address. No account, key or payment is needed.

Ask it things like
- I make $5,500 a month and my ex makes $3,000. We have two kids in Ohio and I have them every other weekend. What would child support be?
- How does Georgia count parenting time in child support?
- We share custody 50/50 in Washington. My income is $7,000 a month and hers is $4,000. Would I still pay support?
What it answers with
An estimated monthly amount with the main calculation steps and the statute or court rule behind each one, the state's parenting time rule, and a link to the state's full calculator. It can also explain how a state's guideline works: the model, which income counts, self-support reserves, minimum orders and shared custody.
Privacy
The connector receives only the numbers in the question (state, number of children, incomes and the optional amounts). It does not ask for names, case numbers or contact details, and it does not store or log questions. Privacy policy.
Estimates from each state's guideline formula, not legal advice. A court sets the actual order and may deviate. Questions: support@supportbystate.com
